“Kenpei YUNDE Solo Exhibition”
Kenpei YUNDE believes that all the motifs are present on the “soil”. He has been repeatedly putting and shaving oil on canvas to make matières over a year.We feel the deep beauty from the simple motif on the thick matières of his painting. In contrast, all his drawings express his respiration and realistic feelings with the improvisational sense of speed.
We also exhibit ‛Vue du village de Giverny’ by Claude Monet as a special display.

【Artist’s biography】
1970 Born in Osaka, Japan.
1996 B.F.A from Osaka University of Arts.
1997 Received Nichido Art Foundation Award in Showakai Exhibition.
1995 Received the Best New Talent Award in Issuikai Exhibition. Three time Honorable Mention winner in Issuikai Exhibition.
2009 Received Sompo Japan Art Award.
2013 Received the Minister of Education Award.
Currently a member of Issuikai committee, Kensuikai committee, Japan Artists Association, and more.
