1913 Born in Tokyo, Japan
1930 Entered Taiheiyo Art School. Met Shunsuke Matsumoto,
Masaaki Terada, Toshiyuki Hasegawa and Aimitsu.
1936 Formed Ecole de Tokyo with Masaaki Terada.
1938 Traveled to Europe and came back due to WWII.
1939 Formed Bijyutsu Bunka Art Association with Ichiro Fukuzawa,
Noboru Kitawaki and Masaaki Terada.
1943 Formed Shinjinga-kai.
1947 Joined Jiyu Bijutsuka Association
1952 Became faculty at Musashino Art School (left in 1981)
1959 Received Merit Award in the 5th Japan International Art Exhibition
1963 Received Minister of Education Award for Fine Arts.
1973 Solo Exhibition at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum.
1994 Solo Exhibition at Mie Prefectural Art Museum, the Museum of Modern
Art, Ibaraki, and the Museum of Modern Art, Kamakura & Hayama.
2000 Passed away on April 5.
