[MIZOE ART GALLERY]
Booth No. #19 (FUKUOKA MITSUKOSHI 9F=MITSUKOSHI GALLERY)
The first artist is Takahide KOMATSU from
Miyazaki Prefecture who paint the world of butterflies and small animals. He has exhibited a lot in art fair inside and outside Japan. He expands the range of his activities including Lexus New Takumi Project in 2016. Mizoe Art Gallery in Fukuoka holds "SATOYAMA", the exhibition of Takahide Komatsu from Saturday, September 14th.
The second artist is Kenpei YUNDE from
Nara. All of his artworks are painted from "soil" and completed with matiere of more than 50 layers spending one year.
The third one is Nami SHIBATA who understand painting from a unique perspective. Her artworks are characterised by portraits that are made by disassembling and reconstructing images. The people are virtual figures cut out from various images who do not represent any certain people in the world.
The fourth one is Fumihiro OGA from Matsuyama who exhibits for the first time in Mizoe art Gallery. People and buildings silently stand in imagined landscape. His works are characterised by simple shapes and unique colors expressed by tens of layers.
The fifth one is Takashi YATOJI from Saga Prefecture. He keeps on expressing his theme "go back and forth between abstract and figurative" using the accumulation of lines and colors. He holds many solo exhibitions and group exhibitions mainly in Saga, Fukuoka, and Tokyo.
Moreover, as special display, we also exhibit "Face of a Man" F20, that Picasso painted in his final years and artworks by Yoshio YOSHIMURA who suddenly passed away in 2013 and who is receiving a great response in the nationwide travelling exhibition "Yoshimura Yoshio : Beyond Hyper-realism" started from Tokyo Station Gallery.
In addition, we also show excellent works of the secondary market that Mizoe Art Gallery is skilled at.
