A sky full of stars, and within those stars live humans and animals. Existing there are skies, grounds, and nature, just like on earth. This is a story woven by Ben Oga, of a star in a distant universe. In the postscript to his newly published poem and picture book, “The Universe of the Heart,” Ben Oga says, “People's hearts are an endless universe, a universe which is interconnected with everything else”. Although a world of imagination, that of Ben Oga’s work evokes a sense of nostalgia. Humans, the world, may be connected to an endless universe, by a thread that is invisible to us. It gives me such a feeling, something akin to hope. Please come and see the exhibition.
