【Biography】
1950 Born in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan.
1971 Graduated from Yamaguchi College of Art.
1978 Award for Shell Art Award.
1979 Finished Sokei Academy of Fine Art & Design, Printmaking course.
Argas Award in International print biennale, UK.
1982 Merit Award in International print biennale, Miami.
1984 Wasaku Kobayashi Award in Yamaguchi.
2000 Special prize in Sesshu Grand prix Masuda Art Awards.
2007 Gran Prix in Yamaguchi Prefectural Art Awards.
2008 “Self-portraits for 365 days” was sold for 50000 USD at Phillips Auction.
Lives and works in Yamaguchi City.
